Big scenes rarely come down to one sound. A football clip might need a crowd cheering, a ball dropping, and the same crowd booing seconds later. Until now, getting all of that from one prompt took trial and error.

Introducing SFX v3 in ElevenCreative and ElevenAPI

SFX v3, the newest ElevenLabs sound effects model, is built for that. It handles prompts that describe multiple sounds more reliably, generates music and vocals more convincingly, and produces cleaner, more natural audio than SFX v2 in benchmark testing. It’s available now in ElevenCreative and through ElevenAPI.

In ElevenCreative, you can create original sound effects from a text prompt in Flows, the Sound Effects tab, Studio, and the Music Editor.

Better handling of multiple sounds in one prompt

SFX v3 is better at following several instructions within a single prompt. That means more of the sounds you describe make it into the generated audio. Describe the sounds that make up your scene and hear how they work together.

For creators working on videos, games, and other projects, this makes it easier to explore a scene’s sound as a whole. Start with the main action, add the surrounding sounds, and listen to how they work together. You can then adjust the description to bring the result closer to what you have in mind.

Stronger music and vocals

SFX v3 also improves generation for prompts that include music and vocals. For creators, that opens up effects that pair a musical phrase or vocal performance with environmental and everyday sounds.

More natural-sounding audio

The quality of an individual sound can change how believable a scene feels. A gong needs its resonance, a chime needs its ring, and a whistle should hold its tone without becoming harsh or crackly.

SFX v3 improves overall sound quality and is less likely to produce those unwanted artifacts on sounds such as gongs, chimes, and whistles. The result is audio that better preserves the character of the sound you asked for.

Whether an effect sits in the foreground or adds detail in the background, more natural sound helps it fit the scene around it.
