Claude 上线 Personal Finance,以只读方式接入银行账户
Claude adds Personal Finance with read-only bank access
Anthropic 为 Claude 推出 Personal Finance 功能,本周起面向美国 Pro、Max 和 Ultra 订阅用户开放测试,用户可通过已连接的银行和信用卡账户数据向 Claude 提问。
Anthropic, the company behind Claude, is rolling out Personal Finance, a new hub that lets people ask questions about their money using data from connected bank and card accounts. The beta starts rolling out to Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers in the US this week. Access is read-only, so Claude cannot move, manage, or invest money. The service has no ads or sponsored recommendations and does not offer its own credit cards, loans, or savings accounts.

Users can ask where their money went, what remains before payday, whether spending is higher than usual, or if anything looks unusual across connected accounts. In Anthropic’s example, Claude categorizes $4,309.37 in monthly spending, including more than half for rent and utilities and $1,024.51 for food and drink. It then checks earlier months, flags a membership renewal, identifies four payments due before payday, and calculates a remaining balance of $1,393.22. It can also surface duplicate charges, unexpected fees, or bills that have risen over time.
Personal Finance can answer broader questions such as whether someone spends more than they earn or how much an APR has cost them in interest. Claude can explain unfamiliar terms and build adjustable weekly spending charts, bill calendars, or dashboards. Anthropic says the feature is intended to replace the work of opening multiple banking apps and manually combining balances and transactions.
Accounts are connected through Plaid after users sign in with their bank and approve read-only access. Claude does not ask for or see a bank password. For selected accounts, it can access the bank and account names, account type, last four digits, balances, credit limits, and up to two years of transactions. Users can unlink an account at any time. Conversations inside the Personal Finance hub are not used to train Anthropic’s models, while privacy settings continue to apply to information shared with Claude outside the hub.
Claude can make mistakes, and Anthropic advises users to inspect the transactions behind a figure and verify important numbers with their bank. Personal Finance is not designed to give investment advice. Anthropic describes this as a first step and is exploring how Claude could work alongside licensed professionals and regulated firms on larger financial decisions, with banks, wealth managers, and financial services companies invited to help shape that work.
