Google 为 Antigravity 筹备新 AI 智能体 Chief of Staff,含语音模式
Google prepares new AI agent for Antigravity with Voice Mode
Google 正准备为 Antigravity 推出新 AI 智能体 Chief of Staff,最新构建中已包含为其设计的语音模式,支持类似 Gemini Live 的实时语音对话,可选择不同音色并调节语速。
Google is preparing a major Antigravity release that could arrive as early as next week, according to communications from Google employees. The latest build contains several hidden features, including a new voice mode designed for an upcoming agent currently called Chief of Staff.
Unlike Antigravity’s existing voice transcription, the new implementation appears to support live voice conversations similar to Gemini Live. Users will be able to choose between different voices and open a dedicated widget with animated audio visualizations. The interface also includes controls for adjusting speech speed, muting either the audio or microphone, and potentially displaying text alongside spoken responses.

The voice mode appears to be designed specifically for Chief of Staff, although the agent’s name could change before release. Its welcome screen highlights four capabilities: reviewing pending conversations, generating personalized rules, addressing topics that require attention, and discovering useful skills and plugins.

Chief of Staff looks capable of operating Antigravity much like a human would. It could potentially coordinate other agents and delegate tasks to them. This orchestration capability has not been confirmed, but it would fit Google’s existing multi-agent architecture.
Another addition is an overview dashboard where users can manage connected extensions, review pending tasks requiring approval, and monitor ongoing background processes. Together, these features could turn Antigravity into a central workspace for managing autonomous agents.

Google has already positioned Antigravity 2.0 as an agent-first platform, introducing subagents, scheduled tasks, and a plugin marketplace. Chief of Staff could bring these capabilities together through a more accessible interface, particularly for developers managing multiple concurrent workflows.

One open question is whether Google intends to compete with products such as Grok Bot or Meta’s Muse. That appears less likely given Antigravity’s developer-focused positioning, although the new voice capabilities could broaden its appeal.
The expected release window is next week, but the exact timing and availability remain unclear. If Google ships these features together, the release could represent a substantial expansion of Antigravity beyond its current agent management capabilities.
